Margaret Shea, PA-C
Maggie is originally from California. She received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from James Madison University with a minor in Spanish. She worked as a research assistant before moving to Spain where she completed a Master’s in Education and taught English and Biology to middle and high school students. Upon returning to the U.S., Maggie worked as a medical assistant in Baltimore prior to moving to New York where she attended Clarkson University and earned a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies.
During Physician Assistant School, she served as representative to the AAPA on behalf of her program. She was active in both local and international service, participating in medical mission trips to both the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. Maggie is also active in orthopedic research having presented at both regional and international research conferences. Upon completing PA school Maggie was inducted into Pi Alpha, the national Physician Assistant honor society. Maggie is nationally board certified and licensed in the state of Maryland. She is bilingual in Spanish and is a member of the AAPA and PAOS.
