Martin Feliz, PT, DPT, MS, ATC, CSCS
Martin is a physical therapist with a special interest in sports medicine, orthopedics, manual therapy, and athletic injuries. As a former strength and conditioning coach/athletic trainer, he always had a passion for helping athletes return to sport following injury and promoting a healthy and active lifestyle. Martin plans on pursuing further certifications in orthopedic and manual therapy as well as becoming a board-certified Sports Specialist to enhance the quality of patient care. Currently, he has been accepted into and begun a sports physical therapy residency through EIM. In addition to treating patients full-time at OrthoBethesda, Martin is doing a rigorous 14-month program that includes highly specialized weekend coursework and one on one mentoring from board certified clinical specialists. Upon conclusion of his residency, Martin will be qualified to become a Sports Clinical Specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. Outside of work, Martin enjoys spending time with his fiancé, playing basketball, powerlifting, Olympic weightlifting, exercising, and hiking. He is a New York native and enjoys exploring all that the Washington DC area has to offer.
