About Us
The Washington Sports Medicine Institute, located in Tysons Corner, Virginia, was established by Aligned Orthopedic Partners as a Center of Excellence in sports medicine. Our team of world-class physicians provides surgical & non-surgical orthopedic sports medicine care, as well as services in all orthopedic sub-specialty areas. The team consists of fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeons, a physiatrist, and sports physical therapists. The orthopedic surgeons are fellowship-trained in sports medicine (shoulder, elbow, knee, & hip disorders) and additionally specialize in pediatric and adolescent sports injuries and fracture care. The practice offers x-ray, ultrasound, and therapy services and is open 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

At The Washington Sports Medicine Institute, we provide treatments for all musculoskeletal structures that can be affected by training, sports activity, and exercise. Our providers have advanced knowledge of physical conditioning, soft tissue biomechanics, performance and health, and field evaluations. We specialize in salvaging previously failed surgeries and performing minimally invasive surgery. Our surgeons stay ahead of the curve of new technology and new techniques in the medical world and will work with our patients to create a plan of action to improve their quality of life.
