Jenny Rock, OTR/L
Hand Therapist
Jenny graduated from Boston University Sargent College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences in 1999 with a degree in Occupational Therapy. After obtaining NBCOT board certification that year, she worked in early intervention and school-based pediatrics with a focus on autism spectrum disorders and their impact on fine motor development.
In 2005 Jenny moved to the D.C. area and began work at Johns Hopkins Medicine in acute care orthopedics. There she solidified her interest in hand therapy as a specialty.
Jenny has undergone extensive specialized training in the hand and upper extremity, regularly attends professional conferences on current literature and research, and thrives on collaborating with the OrthoBethesda team to deliver optimal outcomes for her patients. She is a Certified Kinesio® Taping Practitioner (CKTP), obtained her Credential in Physical Agent Modalities (CPAM®) through Saginaw Valley State University, and is currently pursuing her Certified Hand Therapist credential (CHT).
Outside work Jenny enjoys spending time with her husband and three teenage children, distance running, and gardening. If you want to make Jenny smile, ask about her dog, Molly.
