Shera Gaisin, a native of Montgomery County, Maryland, earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Religion from Yeshiva University’s Stern College for Women and a Master of Social Work from the University of Maryland, Baltimore.

Shera continued her education to become a Physician Assistant and holds a Master of Science in Health Science from the University of Maryland’s Physician Assistant Program. She is nationally board-certified and licensed in the state of Maryland.

Shera joined OrthoBethesda in September 2025 and is dedicated to integrating a bio-psycho-social approach into patient care, combining medical expertise with attention to emotional and social well-being. She strives to improve health outcomes through compassionate, evidence-based practice tailored to each individual.
