Our Approach to Patient Care In Arlington VirginiaOur patient protocol is as follows:
1. Initial Evaluation
During your initial evaluation, our team will evaluate your condition and decide on a personalized treatment plan with you and your loved ones. This visit may entail x-rays to determine if a surgical procedure or non surgical intervention is needed.
2. Physical Therapy
If surgical intervention is not needed initially, we often recommend physical therapy in an attempt to provide patients with improved movement, increased functioning and range of motion.
3. Therapeutic Injection
If physical therapy fails, we may recommend a therapeutic injection like cortisone steroid injection to help the area in question.
4. Surgical Solution
If your condition does not improve, we discuss orthopedic surgical options. We review in detail all of the options and answer any questions that you may have. After this step, it’s time to schedule your surgery in our surgical center inside Virginia Hospital Center.
5. Post-Operative Care
We make sure that you are recovering normally and conduct an x-ray during a postoperative evaluation. We provide follow up instructions and schedule the next appointment to ensure a successful journey back to restored function.
