I had the pleasure today of seeing Dr. Gazdag for a sprained ankle. Everyone that I came in contact with from check-in to X-ray to techs to Dr. Gazdag was WONDERFUL. Everyone treats you with respect and patience. Somehow they seem to know that this is not where you wanted to be (in a doctors office with an injury on a summers day) and they ALL treat you so kindly.
In the past year I have seen Dr. Edward Bieber for a broken wrist. He is an AMAZING surgeon and has only your best interest in mind. I cannot say enough about how awesome he is.
Two days after surgery he sent me to Christine (same office) for PT with my hand and wrist. I was terrified. Terrified of moving my painful hand (PT only two days after surgery!?) terrified of being treated like I was stupid/clumsy, terrified of someone who was unskilled trying to help me and making matters worse. All of these fears were quickly put to rest as the highly skilled professional intelligent kind peaceful and beautiful Christine worked miracles with my hand and wrist all the while treating me with respect and kindness. It felt like I was a member of her own family – that is the kind of care she gave me. She is a PT angel on earth. (Shout out to the smiling and hardworking Danielle and the lovely and patient Mayet at checkout for PT)
Today I actually forget that I had surgery on that hand and honestly have to look for the scar to remember exactly WHICH hand it was.
